Gold Quest is one of Blooket's most popular live game modes because every player has a chance to win until the very end. Answer questions, open treasure chests, collect gold, and hope luck is on your side as you discover rewards that can completely change the game.

How to Play

Each time you answer a question correctly, you'll get to choose one of three treasure chests.

Treasure chests can contain:

• Gold
• Gold multipliers
• Nothing
• Steal
• Swap
• Dragon (Lose Gold)
• Dragon's Treasure (Jackpot)

Keep answering questions and opening treasure chests until the game ends. The player with the most gold wins.

Treasure Chest Rewards

Every treasure chest contains a surprise. Some rewards help you build your gold total, while others can completely shake up the leaderboard.

	Gold	Adds a set amount of gold to your total.
	Double Gold / Triple Gold	Multiplies your current gold.
	Take %	Lets you steal 10% or 25% of another player's gold.
	Swap	Exchanges your total gold with another player's.
	Lose % to Dragon	Steals your gold and adds it to the Dragon's Treasure jackpot.
	Dragon's Treasure	Awards the entire Dragon's Treasure jackpot. This is a rare reward that can dramatically change the game.

Because every chest is random, no one knows what reward they'll uncover next.

Steal

When you uncover a Steal reward, you'll choose another player to steal from.

Depending on the reward, you'll take either 10% or 25% of that player's current gold. The taken gold is immediately added to your own total.

Swap

The Swap reward lets you exchange your gold total with another player.

Choose any player, and your gold totals will instantly switch.

Swap is one of the biggest game changers in Gold Quest. Even if you're behind, one well-timed Swap can put you into first place. It also means the player in first is never guaranteed to stay there.

Dragon's Treasure

Sometimes you'll open a chest and find a dragon instead of a reward.

When this happens, the dragon steals your gold. Instead of disappearing, that gold is added to the Dragon's Treasure jackpot.

Later in the game, a player may uncover the Dragon's Treasure reward. When they do, they'll receive every coin that has been collected in the jackpot throughout the game.

The Dragon's Treasure is rare, but it can completely change the final standings.

Winning the Game

Gold Quest is full of surprises. A player in last place can quickly move to first with a lucky chest, while the leader can lose their advantage with a Swap or a Dragon.

When the game ends, the player with the most gold wins.

Tips

• Answer questions accurately to open more treasure chests.
• Watch the leaderboard before choosing who to steal from or swap with.
• Don't give up if you're behind. One lucky reward can completely change the game.
• Every chest is random, so every correct answer gives you another chance to climb the leaderboard.

Hosting Gold Quest

To host Gold Quest:

1. Select a Question Set.
2. Click Host.
3. Choose Gold Quest from the list of live game modes.
4. Adjust your game settings.
5. Share the Game ID, QR Code, or join link with your players.
6. Click Host Now to begin.
