Snake Escape is a modern take on the classic snake game, combining strategic movement, quick thinking, and educational review. Guide your snake through increasingly challenging maps, collect dragon fruit, answer questions, and survive as long as you can without crashing.

With two distinct game modes (Adventure & Endless) there’s always a new high score to chase.

Quick Start Guide

1. Answer questions from your Question Set.
2. Guide your snake around the map.
3. Eat dragon fruit to grow your snake while avoiding collisions.
4. Complete levels or survive as long as possible.
5. Beat your previous high score.

Controls

Desktop

Once gameplay begins or after answering a question, press an arrow key to start moving your snake again.

Mobile

After answering a question, simply tap a direction to resume movement.

How to Play

Every level begins with a question from your selected Question Set.

Once you answer correctly:

1. Start moving your snake.
2. Navigate around walls and obstacles.
3. Collect dragon fruit scattered across the map which appears as you eat.
4. Avoid colliding with anything, including yourself.
5. Continue until you’ve completed the objective for your game mode.

The more dragon fruit you collect, the longer your snake becomes and the faster your snake moves, making navigation increasingly challenging.

Game Modes

Adventure Mode

Adventure Mode takes you through a series of progressively more difficult levels.

Track Progress as you play. A snake on the right side of the screen will grow, visually tracking how close you are to completing the level. A small map in the bottom left corner of the screen displays your level progress.

Once your snake has eaten all the dragonfruit and the progress bar is filled, the exit gate will open. Guide your snake through the gate, answer another question, and continue to the next level.

Endless Mode

Endless Mode focuses on survival.

Instead of progressing through levels, you remain on a single map. There is no progress bar, exit gate, or level tracker. Your goal is simply to eat as many dragon fruit as possible without crashing.

Progress and High Scores

Each game mode tracks its own highest score independently.

Tips for Success

• Leave yourself enough room to turn as your snake grows, keeping your turns tight, and leaving room on the edge of the map.
• After answering a question, remember that your snake won’t move until you press an arrow key or tap a direction.
• Avoid boxing yourself into tight spaces as your snake becomes longer.
