Game Overview: Blook Rush

Blook Rush is a live game mode where every correct answer gives you a choice: strengthen your own defense or go on the attack. Build the largest collection of Blooks by stealing from your opponents while protecting your own.

Blook Rush can be played Live in Solo or Teams mode.

How to Play

Every time you answer a question correctly, you'll usually choose one of two actions:

• Attack another player or team.
• Defend your own collection.

Occasionally, you'll receive a free Blook instead, giving your collection an instant boost.

When the game ends, the player or team with the most Blooks wins.

Defending

Instead of attacking, you can strengthen your defenses.

Every time you defend, you gain one shield. You can have up to 4 shields at a time.

Shields protect your Blooks by absorbing attacks. As long as you have at least one shield, opponents must remove your shields before they can steal your Blooks.

You can see how many Blooks and Shields you have in the top right corner of your player screen.

Attacking

Choose another player or team to attack.

If your target has any shields, your attack removes one shield.

If they don't have any shields left, you'll steal one of their Blooks and add it to your own collection.

Choosing the right opponent is an important part of the game. You may want to attack players with large collections or players whose shields have already been broken.

Solo and Teams

Blook Rush can be played in two ways.

Solo

Every player builds and protects their own collection of Blooks.

You'll decide when to attack, when to defend, and which opponents to target.

Teams

Players work together to build and protect a shared collection of Blooks.

Strategy

Blook Rush rewards good decision making as much as fast answers.

Some strategies to consider include:

• Attack players who have already lost their shields or knock out a shield to make it easier to steal from in the future.
• Defend before your shields run out. Keep an eye on the shield count as you play!
• Watch your opponents Blook collections to decide who to target.
• In Teams mode, coordinate with your teammates: some players focus on attacking while others focus on keeping the team's shields full. Working together can make your team much harder to defeat!

Finding the right balance between offense and defense is the key to winning.

Hosting Blook Rush

To host Blook Rush:

1. Select a Question Set.
2. Click Host.
3. Choose Blook Rush from the list of live game modes.
4. Choose Solo or Teams as the Match Type.
5. Adjust any additional game settings.
6. Share the Game ID, QR Code, or join link with your players.
7. Click Host Now to begin.
