Game Overview: Classic

Classic is (as the name suggests) a Blooket classic. Players answer the same question at the same time and earn points based on both speed and accuracy. It's simple, fast paced, and a great way to review an entire Question Set with your class.

Classic can be played Live in Solo or Teams mode.

How to Play

Every player receives the same question at the same time.

Players have a limited amount of time to answer each question. The faster you answer correctly, the more points you'll earn.

Scoring

Your score is based on two things:

  • Accuracy. Answer correctly to earn points.
  • Speed. Faster correct answers earn more points.

After each question, you'll see:

  • Whether your answer was correct
  • Points earned for that question
  • The live leaderboard

The leaderboard is also displayed on the host's screen so everyone can follow the standings throughout the game.

Solo and Teams

Classic can be played in two ways.

Solo

Each player competes on their own to earn the highest score.

The player with the most points at the end of the game wins.

Teams

Players are grouped into teams, and every player's score contributes to the team's total.

The team with the highest total score at the end of the game wins.

Host Controls

The host controls when each question begins and ends.

While players are answering, you'll see how much time is left, how many have responded, and the option to skip— ending the question.

After the timer has ended, the results will display. The host can pause before the next question is presented or skip, to advance quickly.

Winning the Game

When the final question has been answered, scores are totaled and the winner is announced.

The player or team with the most points wins.

Teachers can see a complete breakdown of team and player performance in the Report.
