Game Overview: Coco Cabana & Cocoa Cottage

This is a Blooket Plus game mode

Coco Cabana and Cocoa Cottage are seasonal versions of the same game mode, bringing a tropical or cozy twist to this fun and fast-paced Blooket team game. In this live game mode, players compete in teams to collect ingredients and craft the most epic festive drinks before time runs out or the target score is met!

Game Objective

Players are split into two teams. The goal? Collect ingredients, answer questions, stir your drink, and outscore the other team. Teamwork, speed, and dexterity are all key to winning.

Gameplay Phases

Collection Phase

• Players collect ingredients and deliver them to their own cup

Stir Phase

• Head back to your team's cup (you cannot collect ingredients during this phase)
• Tap or click as fast as possible to stir your drink
• Stirring quickly gives your team a point boost

After the Stir Phase ends, the game returns to the Collection Phase, and this cycle continues until the game ends.

How It Works

1. Move & Collect

• Use WASD or arrow keys to move your Blook (Desktop)
• Use on-screen controls to move your Blook (Mobile/Touchscreen Devices)
• Gather Ingredients and Power-Ups scattered around the map

2. Drop Ingredients

• Return ingredients to your team's cup
  • Coco Cabana: Pineapple or Coconut
  • Cocoa Cottage: Red Mug or Blue Mug
• Drop the Mini Mug or Tropical Glass into the other team's cup to steal points

3. Stirring

• Return to your team's cup and click/tap on it to stir
• The faster you click/tap, the more points your team will earn

4. Answering Questions

• Whenever you drop something into a cup you will be prompted with a question from the set
• Players also have an energy bar—when this is fully depleted you will be prompted with a question from the set
• Answer a question correctly to return to the game

Ingredients & Power Ups

Not all ingredients are created equal! Keep an eye out for:

• Standard Ingredients: +1 point when dropped in your team's cup
• Golden Ingredients: +5 when dropped in your team's cup
• Tropical Glass/Mini Mug: Sabotage! Drop it in the opposing team’s cup to remove part of their drink and points
• Leaf/Snowflake: Distraction! Instantly covers the opposing team’s screens, making it harder to collect ingredients and answer questions
• Magnet: Reach! Automatically collect ingredients from further away when the Magnet is collected and active

Standard Ingredients		+1 point when dropped in your team's cup
Golden Ingredients		+5 when dropped in your team's cup
Tropical Glass/Mini Mug		Sabotage! Drop it in the opposing team’s cup to remove part of their drink and points
Leaf/Snowglobe		Distraction! Instantly covers the opposing team’s screens, making it harder to collect ingredients and answer questions
Magnet		Reach! Automatically collect ingredients from further away when the Magnet is collected and active

Team Identification

• Each team wears a unique hat/scarf that matches their cup

Strategy Tips

• You can collect ingredients from anywhere—including the other team's side of the map
  • Risk: longer return trip (especially if the Stir Phase is activated)
  • Reward: you might limit your opponents’ available ingredients and prevent them from collecting Power-Ups or golden ingredients
• Prioritize Golden Ingredients to maximize your score

Winning the Game

The team that reaches the target score first or ends the game with the most points wins!

How to Start a Coco Cabana Game

1. Choose a Question Set
2. Click Host and select Coco Cabana or Cocoa Cottage
3. Customize game settings (time, goal, etc.)
4. Click Host Now and share the Game ID with your class
5. Let the seasonal fun begin!

Coco Cabana and Cocoa Cottage are limited-time seasonal game modes, so they will change depending on the season.
