Game Overview: Factory

Factory is a strategy game where you answer questions to build a factory full of Blooks that generate cash over time. As your factory grows, you'll choose new Blooks, upgrade your existing ones, and even replace them to maximize your earnings.

Success isn't just about answering questions. It's about making smart decisions with every Blook you add to your factory.

Factory is available as a Live and Solo/Homework game mode.

How to Play

Answer questions correctly to earn new Blooks for your factory.

Each correct answer fills your progress bar. Once the bar is full, you'll be presented with a selection of Blooks to choose from.

Select the Blook that best fits your strategy and it will be added to your factory.

Once placed, your Blooks automatically begin generating cash over time.

The player with the most cash when the game ends wins.

Growing Your Factory

Every Blook you add begins earning cash automatically.

Each Blook generates a different amount of cash, and stronger Blooks become available as the game progresses.

Your factory can hold up to 10 Blooks at a time, so every decision matters.

As you continue answering questions, you'll unlock more opportunities to improve your factory.

Choosing the Right Blooks

Every time you earn a new Blook, you'll need to decide whether it's worth adding to your factory.

New Blooks earn a fixed amount of cash at a set interval (seconds). Sometimes you'll discover Blooks that earn significantly more cash than the ones you already own. Other times, it is best to skip them entirely.

Every Blook belongs to a Class, shown by the emoji next to it.

The more Blooks of the same class you collect, the larger your Class Multiplier becomes, increasing the earnings of every Blook in that class.

Balancing profitable individual Blooks with larger class multipliers is one of the biggest strategic decisions in Factory.

Upgrading Your Blooks

As your factory earns cash, you can invest that cash back into your existing Blooks.

Each upgrade increases a Blook's earnings, allowing it to generate even more cash over time.

The upgrade button will automatically turn green when you've earned enough cash to be able to afford it.

Keeping your Blooks upgraded is just as important as adding new ones. Ignoring upgrades can make it difficult to keep up as the game progresses.

Replacing Blooks

Once your factory reaches its 10 Blook limit, you'll need to make a strategic choice. When you earn a new Blook, you can replace one that's already in your factory.

Replacing Blooks allows you to:

• Add more valuable Blooks that generate higher earnings.
• Increase your Class Multipliers by grouping similar Blooks together.
• Continuously improve your factory as stronger Blooks become available.

Don't be afraid to replace earlier Blooks if it helps strengthen your overall strategy.

Distractions

Occasionally, you'll have the option to select a Distraction that sabotage other players during a live game.

Live, Solo, and Homework

Factory plays similarly across every mode.

No matter which mode you're playing, every correct answer gives you another opportunity to strengthen your factory.

Strategy Tips

Tip: Don't simply choose the Blook that earns the most cash. Sometimes selecting a Blook that matches an existing Class or with a shorter earning interval will increase your overall earnings more!

Tip: Don't be afraid to skip! Sometimes the offerings are not as good as the Blooks you already have in your Factory.

Tip: Upgrade your Blooks regularly. Investing in your existing factory is just as important as adding new Blooks.

Tip: As stronger Blooks appear later in the game, don't hesitate to replace older ones that are no longer contributing as much to your strategy.

Tip: Keep an eye on your Class Multipliers. Building several Blooks from the same class can dramatically increase your earnings.

Tip: Near the very end of a game, think carefully before purchasing upgrades. Since the winner is determined by the amount of cash in your factory when the game ends, it may be better to save your cash instead of investing it if there isn't enough time left for the upgrade to pay for itself.

Hosting Factory

To host Factory:

1. Select a Question Set.
2. Click Host.
3. Choose Factory from the list of game modes.
4. Choose whether the game ends after a Time limit or when a player reaches the Cash Goal.
5. Adjust any additional game settings.
6. Share the Game ID, QR Code, or join link with your players.
7. Click Host Now to begin.
