Tower Defense 2 is an expanded and more strategic version of the original Tower Defense. Answer questions to earn Tokens, build powerful defenses, and protect your base from increasingly difficult waves of Evil Blooks.

With more maps, selectable difficulty levels, and a larger collection of towers, Tower Defense 2 offers one of Blooket's deepest strategy experiences while rewarding careful planning and experimentation.

How to Play

Before your adventure begins, you'll customize your game.

Start by choosing your map.

Then select your difficulty.

Building Your Defense

Answer questions correctly between levels to earn Tokens, then spend those Tokens to purchase towers that defend against incoming waves of Evil Blooks.

Before purchasing a tower, click or tap it to preview its statistics, abilities, attack type, and other helpful information.

After purchasing a tower, move it around the map to preview its attack range before placing it.

A red X indicates that the tower cannot be placed in that location, such as on the path or on an obstacle.

When you've found the perfect location, click or tap again to place the tower.

Tower costs are displayed in the menu. Every tower serves a different purpose. Most towers focus on dealing damage or slowing enemies. The last row of towers provide powerful support abilities as you place and upgrade them. Abilities include improving firing rate and range, decreasing upgrade costs, adding ghost damage, and increasing the tokens earned every round.

Experiment with different combinations to discover what works best for your strategy!

Upgrading and Selling Towers

As you defeat more enemies and answer more questions, you'll continue earning Tokens to strengthen your defenses.

Selecting one of your towers opens its management menu.

ActionDescription
Buy UpgradeImprove the tower's damage, reload speed, range, or other attributes.
SellRemove the tower and recover some of the Tokens you've invested so you can purchase different towers or adapt your strategy.
Modify TargetMany towers allow you to specify the enemies it will target: First, Last, Strongest, Weakest, Farthest, or Closest.

Surviving the Waves

Each wave introduces more Evil Blooks to defeat.

As you survive longer, waves become progressively more difficult. You'll encounter stronger enemies and some with special abilities that require different defensive strategies.

One example is Ghost enemies, which can only be damaged by certain towers. Preparing for specialized enemies is an important part of building a successful defense.

Unlike the original Tower Defense, Tower Defense 2 does not have random gameplay events, allowing you to concentrate on tower placement, upgrades, and adapting to increasingly difficult waves.

Live, Solo, and Homework

Tower Defense 2 offers a different experience depending on how you play.

ModeObjective
Live/HWCompete against other players to deal the most damage before time expires or reach the host's Damage Goal first.
SoloDefend your base against increasingly difficult waves while managing your Health. Progress is automatically saved between sessions.

No matter which mode you choose, every correct answer earns Tokens that help strengthen your defenses and prepare for the next wave.

Live Goal

In Live games, you'll compete against other players to deal the most damage before time expires or before someone reaches the host's Damage Goal.

Solo Goal

In Solo and Homework, your goal is different.

You begin each game with 100 Health. Every time an Evil Blook slips through your defenses and reaches the end of the path, your base takes damage and your Health decreases.

Your goal is to survive as many waves as possible while preventing enemies from reaching the end of the map. If your Health reaches zero, the game is over.

Saving Your Progress (Solo)

Tower Defense 2 automatically saves your progress in Solo gameplay, making it easy to continue your game over multiple sessions and/or question sets.

Load Game to continue one of your previously saved games.

td2_260803-oeak.png

Select New Game in an empty save slot or Replace to overwrite one of your existing saved games with a new adventure.

Automatic saving makes Tower Defense 2 perfect for longer strategy sessions, allowing you to continue building your defenses whenever you're ready.

Developing Your Strategy

Tower Defense 2 rewards experimentation and careful planning.

Some towers specialize in dealing heavy damage, while others attack quickly, slow enemies, or provide support to nearby defenses.

A few unique towers offer additional strategic benefits, such as increasing the effectiveness of nearby towers or generating extra Tokens after every wave.

As the game progresses, adapting your strategy becomes just as important as upgrading your towers.

Strategy Tips

Tip: Different towers excel against different enemy types. Experiment with different tower combinations to discover which defenses work best together.

Tip: Tower placement matters. Long-range towers can begin attacking enemies earlier, while shorter-range towers are often most effective when placed close to the path so they can attack enemies for as long as possible.

Tip: Support towers can make nearby defenses much stronger, while economy towers can generate additional Tokens to help fund future upgrades.

Tip: Ghost enemies and different waves (like those with low-power and high-density) require specialized towers to defeat. Make sure your defense is prepared before they begin appearing.

Tip: Don't be afraid to sell towers that are no longer effective. Recovering some of your Tokens allows you to invest in stronger or more specialized towers as the waves become more difficult.

Tip: Every map presents different opportunities for tower placement. Try different layouts, difficulties, and tower combinations to discover new strategies.

Tip: Sometimes upgrading or modifying the target of an existing tower is better than placing a new one.
