Game Overview: Racing

Racing is a live game mode where players answer questions to race toward the finish line. Every correct answer moves you forward, and power ups can help you catch up, protect your lead, or slow down your opponents.

With plenty of comeback opportunities, Racing keeps every player in the competition until the finish.

How to Play

Every correct answer moves your racer one meter closer to the finish line.

As you answer questions, you'll occasionally earn power ups that can help you or disrupt other players.

The first player to cross the finish line wins. If the host is using Time mode, the player in the lead when time expires wins instead.

Power Ups

Power ups can quickly change the race. Some help you move forward, while others slow down your opponents or protect your position.

	Blook Fiesta	Distracts other players with your equipped Blook.
	Busy Bees	Sends the player in first place back 3 meters.
	Energy Boost	Automatically moves you forward 1 meter.
	Freeze	Freezes another player for 7 seconds.
	Mega Rocket Attack	Sends 3 players back 1 meter each.
	Minify	Shrinks every player's game screen.
	Mighty Shield	Blocks the next harmful power up used against you. The shield remains active until it blocks an attack.
	Rocket Attack	Sends any player back 1 meter.
	Soda Blast	Moves you forward 4 meters.
	Spicy Pepper	Makes your next 3 correct answers worth double distance.
	Whoosh	Sends a player behind you back 1 meter.

Race Progress

The host screen displays every racer throughout the game, making it easy for the whole class to follow the action.

Every player can view their progress in the top right corner of their player screens.

Hosting Racing

To host Racing:

1. Select a Question Set.
2. Click Host.
3. Choose Racing from the list of live game modes.
4. Choose whether the game ends when a player reaches the Score Goal or the Time limit expires.
5. Adjust your Racing settings, including:
   • Allow Power-ups
   • Show Answer Correctness
   • Time Penalty for Incorrect Answers
   • Question Ordering
6. Adjust any additional game settings.
7. Share the Game ID, QR Code, or join link with your players.
8. Click Host Now to begin.
