How to Play Egg Hunt (Live Seasonal Game Mode)

Egg Hunt is a fast-paced, spring-themed live game mode where students race to collect eggs, answer questions, and earn points before time runs out. With unique eggs and healthy competition, it’s perfect for keeping students energized and engaged while mastering content.

Note: Egg Hunt is a limited-time seasonal mode, so it may not be available year-round.

Overview

In Egg Hunt, players explore a colorful spring-themed map while collecting eggs and answering questions. The more eggs they grab (and the more questions they answer), the higher their score. Some eggs include power-ups, and the occasional Egg Party introduces a burst of bonus eggs for everyone to chase!

How to Host Egg Hunt

1. Log into your Blooket account at Blooket.com
2. Choose a Question Set:
   • From the Discover page
   • OR from your My Sets tab.
3. Click the Host button on the Set Page.
4. Select Egg Hunt from the list of available game modes.
5. Customize your game settings (time limit or score goal).
6. Click Host Now and share the Game ID with your students.

Egg Hunt supports up to 60 players and is best for sets with short, quick-answer questions.

How the Game Works

Players appear on a spring-themed map filled with eggs and obstacles.

On desktop, use arrow keys or WASD to move.

On mobile, use on-screen joystick controls.

Each egg collected = points!

Special Power-Up Eggs take immediate effect!

When a player runs out of energy, they must answer a question correctly
to recharge and continue collecting eggs.

Egg Types

Not all eggs are the same! Some contain special powers to spice up the game:

	Standard Eggs: Gives you +1 point
	Grow Egg: Makes your player bigger to collect more eggs at once.
	Shrink Egg: Makes your player smaller to sneak past obstacles.
	Speed Egg: Increases your movement speed.
	Fly Egg: Lets your player float across the map.
	Teleport Egg: Instantly moves you to a new map location.
	Energy Egg: Boosts your energy, giving you more time to collect eggs.
	Golden Egg: Gives you +5 points!
	Question Egg: Gives you +3 points after answering a question.
	Distraction Egg: Scatters eggs over players screens, obstructing their view.
	Egg Party: Populates the map with tons of eggs!

Tips for Teachers

• Use with any subject or topic—it works with all question sets but especially well with those that are able to be answered quickly.
• Great for review days, warm-ups, or high-energy classroom rewards.
• Encourage students to move quickly and answer accurately.
• Works best when every student has their own device with internet access.

Can't Find Egg Hunt?

Egg Hunt is a seasonal game mode—available only during certain times of year (like spring). If it's not currently visible in your Host game mode list, keep an eye out for its return during seasonal events.
