AI Generated Question Sets with Khanmigo

The Khanmigo Blooket Generator, developed by Khan Academy, makes it quick and easy to create AI-generated question sets for Blooket. With just a few steps, you can generate a custom set of questions on virtually any topic, then seamlessly import them into your Blooket account.

Step 1: Accessing Khanmigo
Visit Khanmigo.ai and sign up for a free Khanmigo teacher account.

Once logged in, locate and click on the “Blooket Generator” tool within your Khanmigo dashboard.

Step 2: Defining Your Question Set
Select your grade level from the dropdown menu and enter the topic of your question set. These two fields are required.

Additionally, you can influence the output with additional fields:

• Standards or learning objectives
• Additional notes for the topic
• Overall instructions for the Question Set

When you’re ready, click “Start.”

Step 3: Reviewing and Editing Questions
Within a few seconds, you’ll see a series of AI-generated question cards. Each card includes a question and multiple-choice answers. 

Khanmigo makes mistakes sometimes. Here's why

Edit the questions and answers by selecting the text.
Note: This can be done before and after the question has been added to the set.

To change the correct answer, select the question number that is correct.

When you are happy with the question, add it to your set by clicking the plus (+) icon.

Discard the question by clicking the trash can icon.

New questions will continue to appear as you work, so you can build your set at your own pace.

Step 4: Exporting to Blooket
When you’re satisfied with your question set, select “Export to Blooket.”

Step 5: Sign up or sign into your Blooket account

After exporting, you will be taken to a temporary Blooket page. Sign up or sign into your Blooket account.

After signing in, save your set by selecting "Save Set".

Step 6: Using and Editing in Blooket
Once saved, you’ll see your new question set in Blooket. From here, you can edit your set like any other in your "My Sets" section.

Your question set will be saved as "Public" by default.
Click the edit icon to change privacy settings.

Additional Tips

1. Once the Question Set has been saved in Blooket, you can customize questions by adding media, changing question types, and manually adding additional questions like any other set.
2. Currently, you cannot add more questions to an existing set directly from the Khanmigo Blooket Generator. To add more questions, create a new Question Set using the Blooket Generator tool in Khanmigo and merge it with an existing set within Blooket (available for Blooket Plus subscribers).
3. You can always return to Khanmigo.ai to generate new sets on different topics.
