This is a Blooket Plus feature
Merge Question Sets when you want to combine questions from several of your sets. You can create a separate Question Set or add the questions to an existing set.
Start a Merge
- Select My Sets from the left navigation.
- Find the Question Set that you want to use as the starting set.
- Open the three-dot menu on its Question Set card.
- Select Merge.
A merge panel will open on the right side of the page. The panel displays the starting Question Set and lets you update the title for the merged set.
Add Question Sets to the Merge
Your other Question Sets will remain visible beside the merge panel. Select Add to Merge on each Question Set you want to include. You can now merge more than two sets at a time!
Tip: You can navigate to folders or search for a specific set while the Merge panel is open.
To remove a Question Set from the merge, select the X beside that set in the panel.
At the bottom of the panel, review the merge type, number of Question Sets, and total number of questions that will be included.
Choose a Merge Type
Select the merge type based on what you want to happen to the starting Question Set.
| Merge Type | Result |
|---|---|
| Create New Set | Keeps all of the original Question Sets unchanged and creates a separate set containing the merged questions (including those from the starting set). |
| Add Questions to First Set | Adds the questions from the selected sets to the starting Question Set. The other Question Sets remain unchanged. |
Review the selected sets, title, merge type, and question total. When everything is correct, select Merge.
Review and Save the Merged Set
After the merge, the resulting Question Set will open in the Set Editor. You can:
- Rearrange questions.
- Edit or remove questions.
- Add more questions.
- Select Edit Info to change the title, cover image, description, or privacy.
When you finish editing, select Save Set. You will return to My Sets, where the merged Question Set will appear.
