How to Import Questions from a Spreadsheet into Blooket

 

You can easily import multiple choice questions into new or existing Question Sets!

 

To import a spreadsheet into a new set: select the "CSV Import" option on the Set Creator Page. Then, add a title and select "Create Your Set".

To import a spreadsheet into an existing set: select the "Spreadsheet Import" option on the Set Edit page

1. Copy or Download Blooket's spreadsheet template.

Select "Copy" to edit our format in Google sheets
Select "Download" to edit our format in Excel

2. Edit the spreadsheet to fit your needs 
Note: Do not edit any of the colored (blue or gray) cells when adding question, answers, or time limits

The Correct Answer(s) column must contain only numbers. Enter 1, 2, 3, or 4 to match the position of the correct option. For example, Question 2 is "What's 3+3?" If the correct answer "6" appears in the Answer 2 column, enter "2" in the Correct Answer(s) column. If there are two correct answers, separate the numbers with a comma. See the image above.

Bonus Tip: Add typing to the J column for any questions you'd like to be "typing answer" questions. Any answers you enter in the answer columns will be imported as "is exactly" options.

3. Download the file as a .CSV (Comma Separated Values)

4. Navigate back to Blooket and Upload the CSV file

Once imported, you will be taken to the Set Edit page where you can further customize and edit your question set.
