Blooket’s updated Homework feature gives you more control over how you play and complete assignments. Follow these steps to join and finish your homework.
Joining Homework
Teachers can share homework in two ways:
- QR Code
- Scan the QR code with a device that has a camera and internet access.
- You might see this in a virtual classroom or projected on a classroom screen.
- Link
- Click the link from your LMS, email, or another source.
Homework Details Screen
After using either method, you’ll see the Homework Details screen. This shows:
- Homework title
- Teacher name
- Due date
- Correct Goal – how many questions you must answer correctly to complete the assignment
Logging In (Optional)
You don’t need an account to complete homework.
However, logging in allows you to:
- Earn XP and tokens
- Track progress in your account
- Spend tokens in the Market
Login Options:
- If you’re not logged in, use the link in the top-right corner to log in (if your teacher has enabled it).
- If you see a Dashboard link, you’re already logged in.
Starting the Homework
- Click Get Started.
- Choose a Solo Game Mode – Click a game logo to preview:
- Difficulty
- Skills used
- Ideal time
- Question frequency
- Click Play to launch your selected game.
Entering Your Nickname
- Type a clear, appropriate nickname (this is what your teacher will see).
- Click the arrow to submit.
Playing the Homework
Play as you normally would in that game mode.
Your remaining Correct Goal is shown when you start playing.
It is also visible in the top-right corner during gameplay.
Click the Settings icon for volume and accessibility options.
Some games have an Info button explaining the mode.
Switching Game Modes
- Click the checkered flag to exit your current game.
- Confirm, then return to the game selection screen.
- Pick a new game mode to continue your homework.
Tip: Complete the homework in one session. Closing the tab or leaving it inactive too long will require you to start over using the link or QR code.
Finishing the Homework
When you meet the Correct Goal:
- A pop-up will ask if you want to End Homework or Keep Playing.
- Your teacher will see that you met the goal, even if you continue playing.
Viewing Results
After ending the homework:
- You’ll see a performance summary.
- Click View Details for question-by-question results.
- Your teacher will see your results in their dashboard.
Play Again (Optional)
If you’re logged in, click Play Again (top-right) to start a new solo game with the same Question Set.
This won’t count toward homework results, but it’s a great way to keep practicing.
