How to Complete Homework in Blooket

How to Join Blooket Homework

Blooket Homework has been updated to give students more control and fun! This article will walk you through the simple steps to join a homework assignment and choose your own game mode.

1. Joining the Homework Assignment

A teacher can share a homework assignment with you in one of two ways:
  • QR Code: Your teacher may display a QR code in the classroom or a virtual meeting. You can simply scan this with your phone or tablet's camera to join.
  • Homework Link: Your teacher can provide a direct link to the homework assignment. You might find this link in an email or on a learning management system (LMS). Clicking the link will take you directly to the homework.

2. Accessing the Homework

Once you scan the QR code or click the link, you will be taken to a screen that displays the homework details.

This screen shows important information about the assignment:
  • The name of the homework (e.g., "Week 2: Multiplication Facts HW")
  • Who assigned it
  • The due date
  • The goal, which is the number of questions you must answer correctly to complete the homework.
Anyone with the link or QR code can join the homework, and you do not need a Blooket account to play. However, if you have an account and are logged in, you can earn experience points and tokens. To start, click the Get Started button.

3. Choosing Your Game Mode

This new update puts you in control! You can now select any of the available solo game modes to complete your homework.

  • Don't worry, you can switch game modes later if you change your mind!

4. Entering Your Nickname and Playing

Next, you will be prompted to enter a nickname. This is the name your teacher will see, so be sure to choose an appropriate and clear name so you get credit for your work.

After entering your nickname, you'll see a quick reminder of your homework goal. Then, you can start playing the game as you normally would.

5. Monitoring Your Progress, Settings, and Ending a Game

To exit the game or switch to a new game mode, click the Checkered Flag icon in the top-right corner. A confirmation screen will appear. If you want to switch games, select the confirmation or Main Menu button.

6. Completing the Homework

When you have answered enough questions to meet the goal, a "Homework Complete!" pop-up will appear.

You can choose to:
  • Keep Going: Continue playing to improve your accuracy, master the material, and have more fun.
  • End Now: Finish the assignment and view your results.

Regardless of which option you choose, your teacher will see that you have met the homework goal. Once you end the homework, you'll see an overview of your performance, including your accuracy and any rewards you've earned.

Important Note: At this time, it is best to complete the homework in one session. If you close the window or leave the tab inactive for too long, you will need to start a new homework session from the beginning using the original link or QR code.

7. Post-Game Options

After completing your homework, you'll see a final screen with your results.

If you were logged in with an account, you can click Play Again to start a new solo game with the same question set. This is a great way to review the material, but it will not count towards your homework grade and your teacher will not see these results.

That's it! You now know how to join and complete Blooket homework assignments.
